Burcu Uyar - Donna Anna
While studying piano and guitar, Burcu Uyar began singing in Turkey. Her talent as a musician and vocalist quickly earned Music Conservatory awards. Immediately noticed by professionals, she first stepped on stage in the role of Olympia in Jacques Offenbach's Les Contes d'Hoffman at the Izmir State Opera. Particularly appreciated as Die Königin der Nacht in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, a role she performed in important theaters thoroughout Europe, her repertoire includes Mozart's masterpieces and operas by Donizetti and Verdi. She recently sang Lucia in Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor in Padoa and Berlin where she performed also as Donna Anna in Don Giovanni.
Future plans include: Die Königin der Nacht with Akademie für Alte Musik under René Jacobs on a European tour (Amsterdam, Brussels, Rome, Barcelona and Lisboa). She will make her debut as Juliette in Roméo et Juliette in Sassari.
Andrea Mastroni - Commendatore
After winning Giuseppe Di Stefano award in 2007 he made his debut as Sparafucile in Rigoletto in Trapani. He then attended Accademia Rossiniana in Pesaro under the guidance of Alberto Zedda gaining great success thought his intrepretation in Il viaggio a Reims (Barone di Trombonock). Particularly gifted artist with a rich voice his repertoire spams from Mozart to Rossini, from Verdi to Puccini, with a particularly interest in great baroque and chamber music composers (especiallly Schubert's lieder). Very young he has been already guest in prestigious theatres as: Teatro Real in Madrid, Teatro Regio in Parma, Teatro Dante Alighieri in Ravenna, Sferisterio Opera Festival ,Opéra de Toulon; he regularly collaborates with artists such as Riccardo Muti and Ottavio Dantone.
Future plans: Rigoletto at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan and then on tour in Japan; La Fanciulla del West at the Opéra de Paris; L’Orfeo at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich.
